Nicole Scherzinger back with beau Lewis Hamilton?

Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton split up last month after work commitments got to be too tough to maintain the relationship, but after a heart-to-heart at singer's LA home, the two are reportedly considering giving it another go.

Lewis, 28, on a three-week break from his busy Formula 1 schedule, visited Scherzinger's Beverly Hills mansion to see if they couldn't find a way to make the relationship work.

“After the split he was devastated so when he suggested that he fly out to see Nicole, he was delighted she said yes," a source revealed. “He went to her house in Los Angeles to talk things through and both thought it was a great success."

“They desperately want to be ­together but they know that from now until Christmas is going to be really tough," the source added. "They’re both willing to give it their best shot and try to make a success of it though."

The duo have been together on and off for five years, but have struggled to see each other with Lewis jetting around the globe racing Grands Prix and Scherzinger expected in the U.K. for the filming of the tenth series of "The X Factor."
