Harvard Rugland, the Norwegian YouTuber also known as "Kickalicious," made his professional debut with the Detroit Lions on Friday, going 2-for-2 in the Lions' 26-17 win over the New York Jets.
The NFL first took notice of Rugland when a video of his trick shots, titled "Kickalicious," went viral. He'll be competing with David Akers for the Lions' starting kicker.
"When it left my foot, it felt a little low," Rugland said of his first kick. "When it cleared their defense, it felt great. It was a good feeling."
"I think we're all happy to have him as a teammate," quarterback Matthew Stafford said of his new teammate. "The guy is a great guy. It's refreshing to see how much fun he's having. The guy's having a blast here, and he's kicking the ball great.
"He's a great dude," defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh said. "Obviously, his accent is hilarious."
