A Portland police sergeant saw Jones leaving a club called Tube, said spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson. Jones allegedly walked by a doorway where homeless men were sleeping, yelled at them to "Wake up!" then stomped on one of the man's legs.

Daniel John Kellerher, 46, the alleged victim, did not require medical treatment.

Jones, 21, is due back in court September 6 after posting $1,500 bail.
