George Zimmerman, the man cleared of all charges in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, has kept a low profile since the verdict was announced.
Zimmerman was pulled over for speeding Sunday on Highway 80 in North Texas.
According to the police station, Zimmerman was armed when he was pulled over driving a Honda pickup. The officer said he did not recognize him.
Zimmerman told the officer he was armed, and then was told to put his weapon in the glove compartment. The officer then told Zimmerman he could go on his way. The whole incident was captured on the officer's dash cam.
At some point during the stop, Zimmerman asked the officer whether he recognized him from television. The officer told him he did not.
Zimmerman said he was going no place in particular and was released on a warning.
