July 30 (UPI) --
North Carolina's Republican Governor Pat McCrory signed into law
Monday a restrictive abortion bill that will tighten eligibility for the procedure.
The bill, which passed the state's Legislature earlier this month, will place certain requirements on clinics that will reportedly make it harder for women to qualify for the procedure.
According to CNN, one of the new requirements of the bill will be the presence of a doctor during the abortion.
