Flavor Flav's last chicken joint closed

By GABRIELLE LEVY, UPI.com

It's the end for Flavor Flav -- at least for his ill-fated restaurant business.

The rapper and reality star's Sterling Heights, Mich., restaurant, Flavor Flav's Chicken and Ribs, was shut down and evicted by the landlord this week for nonpayment of rent.

Avenue Invest LLC had the locks changed Wednesday after Sterling Heights police helped evict Flav and his business partners, Gino Harmon and Salvatore Bitonti, said Richard Smutek, an attorney for Avenue Invest.

Smutek said the owners had not paid rent since October.

A post on the restaurant's Facebook page said they were planning on announcing a new location, but has so far divulged no further details.
