Cavemen shortstop Mattingly Romanin was expecting to play just another collegiate summer league baseball game when a skydiver struck his face on Saturday night.
According to Khqatv, skydivers were tasked with delivering the game ball at the start of the Hannibal Caveman game. This one diver, however, miscalculated and landed on Romanin.

After the incident, Romanin, who is the starting short stop for the Missouri summer league Hannibal Cavemen, rolled around the grass for a bit, but seemed to have resulted uninjured.
"i feel like i got kicked in the face yesterday, oh wait...." the shortstop tweeted Wednesday.
