Do not read more if you want to hang onto your G-rated memories of Shirley Jones, who starred in movie-musicals like "Oklahoma!" and "The Music Man" before playing the Partridge family matriarch on television in the 1970s.

Jones, now 79, issues a similar warning in the introduction to her new autobiography, "Shirley Jones: A Memoir," in which she says, "So bring out the smelling salts, hang on to your hats, and get ready for the surprise of your lives!"

Much of the book details her failed marriage to actor Jack Cassidy, whom she says was very well-endowed. The actress also says that she and Cassidy repeatedly cheated on each other and once had a threesome.

"I am nowhere near as breezy and uncomplicated as Mrs. Partridge," Jones writes, according to CNN. "And I'm not a spoiled Hollywood movie star or a jaded TV icon, either."

“I still want to make it clear that I believe that a woman can remain sexual right through her 70s and 80s and beyond. I am living proof of that.” Jones says. “Despite my advanced years, that hasn’t changed a bit, although it can take longer than before for me to achieve sexual fulfillment these days.”

Jones has been married to actor and voice over artist Mary Ingels since 1977.
