[VIDEO] Ohio tornado hits Ursuline College

By KATE STANTON, UPI.com

With winds up to 110 miles per hour, a tornado moved through Pepper Pike, Ohio, on Saturday morning, damaging several buildings at Ursuline College, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported.

The school's president, Sister Diana Stano, said it was a "blessing" that no one was injured in the storm, though the tornado ripped off the roof and one wall of the gymnasium.

A post to the school's website said the tornado caused "devastating damage" to the gym. Several other buildings were affected, while debris and fallen trees littered campus.

“The blessing is that there was no loss of life or injury," Stano said in a statement.

Ursuline said the school would be closed Monday.
