Sharks will fly down over Manhattan in the "Sharknado" sequel SyFy has just ordered, set to premiere in 2014, and the network wants fans to name it.

Although "Sharknado" only brought in 1.369 million viewers -- in typical made-for-TV B-movie fashion -- it spawned a feeding frenzy on social media, with Twitter users turning the film into a pop culture phenomenon.

The movie starred Tara Reid, who said she'd be in for a sequel. “I had no idea,” Reid told TMZ Live.

“I just thought sharks flying in he sky is just the funniest movie ever. This movie was so ridiculous, you know? Like it's almost so bad that it's good."

Writer and director Damon Lindelof tweeted "The best thing about Sharknado's huge pop culture impact is that Tara Reid gets to look like a [expletive] genius for doing it."

For the majority who didn't see it, "Sharknado" is a climate-induced disaster movie with killer weather in the form of hurricanes that spawn tornados over the ocean, sucking up hundreds of sharks and dumping them on Los Angeles.

SyFy is asking fans to name the sequel by tweeting entries @SyFymovies. Submissions so far include "Sharknado 2: Chew York Chew York" and "Sharknado 2: Not Just Another Fish Out of Water."
