Ozzy Osbourne gave his thoughts on the recent passing of "Glee" star Cory Monteith, who died as a result of a "mixed drug toxicity" involving heroin and alcohol.
The legendary rocker has had a long history of drug use, but warned against it.
"I went through all that stuff and I survived, but you know what, I haven't got many friends that I used to do it with that are alive," he said. "They're all dead."
Osbourne said that no one should look at him and think that they too can survive. He said that people dying of alcohol and drug overdoses happens all too often.
"I used to think I couldn't write or perform songs without a drug or a drink inside me, and that's a load of crap." But he also said that it's difficult to stop once you've started, and referenced his recent return to bad habits that led to a dramatic split with his wife, Sharon.
