Renee Alway, a former "America's Next Top Model" alum was arrested in Palm Springs, Calif. in connection to a six-hour standoff with police at a condo, authorities said.
Alway, 27, was arrested on June 28 on multiple charges including suspicion of burglary, fraud and possession of controlled substances, Palm Springs police said in a statement.
Alway was found by authorities holding a firearm and hiding in the garage of a Palm Springs home around the 600 block of Violeta Drive, after neighbors called police to report the owners of the house were gone and they had spotted someone in there.
Alway has remained in the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility since her arrest, with bail set at $150,000. She is due to appear in court next week.
According to Palm Springs police Sgt. Kyle Stjerne, this is Alway's third arrest this year.
The 27-year-old model was a final three contestant during Cycle 8 of "ANTM."
