Inspired by true events, the movie tells the story of how Disney convinced "Mary Poppins" author P.L. Travers, played by Emma Thompson, to grant him the rights to adapt her novel for the big screen.
In the first still from the movie, Hank suits up and puts his hair back a la Walt Disney as he shows author P.L. Thompson around the "happiest place on earth," Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.
"Saving Mr. Banks" hits theaters December 13.
