July 12 (UPI) -- Former Victoria's Secret angel Helena Christensen posed nude in her New York apartment for a photo-spread that accompanies a feature story about her life in the latest issue of FutureClaw Magazine.

While being photographed by Gregory Derkenne, Christensen, 44, styled herself with garments form her very own closet.

"It was interesting to have to go through my own clothes for a shoot," she confessed during the interview. "I tend to dress in items that don't necessarily go so well together, I like when style isn't obvious. I always end up feeling most comfortable wearing a combination of something quirky and strange. Maybe style shouldn't be defined but rather felt."

The model's choices where in fact pretty daring as most of the outfits feature her in sheer dresses and fun lingerie.

Asked about her thoughts on the modeling industry and if she was ever unhappy being a model, the Danish beauty said she had no complaints.

"I think I was always very much aware of the fact that I have an unusual and very interesting job," she said. "Any negative obstacle along the way seemed pretty insignificant when weighed against the thrilling moments."
