This would be the "Clueless" star's fourth attempt at breaking into syndicated television. In 2003 Silverstone's sitcom "Miss Match," got canceled after only 11 episodes and her subsequent TV pilots "Queen B" and "Pink Collar" did not get picked up for syndication.
Star, who has signed on to take charge as director and executive producer, is best known for his work in "Sex and the City," "Melrose Place" and "Beverly Hills 90210."
