Elisabeth Hasselbeck will join original "View" co-hosts Joy Behar and Barbara Walters on their way out the door of the long-running daytime talk show.
According to various media reports, the 36-year-old television host, known as "The View's" lone conservative voice, will move to "Fox & Friends" in mid-September. Her last day on the ABC show is Wednesday.
"I have been a longtime fan of 'Fox & Friends' and am excited to be joining their team in September as it is an honor to call the Fox News Channel my new television home," the 36-year-old television host said of the move.
"Elisabeth's warm and engaging personality made her a star on 'The View,'" Fox CEO Roger Ailes said in a statement. "She has proven to be an excellent conversationalist and I am certain she will make a great addition to our already successful morning franchise."
"We have had 10 wonderful years with Elisabeth, and she will now be swimming in new waters. We will miss her and wish her everything good," Walters said.
TMZ has heard rumors that Brooke Shields will be Hasselbeck's replacement.
