Nnamdi Asomugha secretly weds 'Scandal' star Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha were able to keep their June 24 wedding a secret for some time.

Turns out, paparazzi don't go to Blaine County, Idaho, where the two held their nuptials. It was unlikely the photographers would show up, as they had kept their relationship a secret since they started dating last summer.

Asomugha, a San Franciso 49ers cornerback, has dabbled in acting with appearances on "Friday Night Lights" and "Kroll Show," but is more known for his three-time Pro Bowl selection. Washington recently won two NAACP Image awards for her roles in "Scandal" and "Django Unchained."

Details about their wedding are scarce, just as the two wanted it. Their marriage certificate shows that the two married in Hailey, Idaho. Washington's parents signed the certificate as witnesses, and the groom's sister, a minister in Silver Spring, Md., officiated.
