Dwight Howard, the most coveted free agent in the NBA, has reportedly picked the Houston Rockets to be his next team, Sam Amick said.
A source close to Howard said that he has not yet made a decision, however. Either way, Howard's decision has not yet been announced. But Dallas owner Mark Cuban was informed that his frontrunner Mavericks were out of the running with getting Howard.
Howard's agent Dan Fegan has said that Howard will make his decision Friday night or Saturday morning. Houston and Los Angeles are the only teams that have not been notified of Howard's decision.
NBA columnist Adrien Wojnarowski said that while Howard has picked the Rockets, he has not yet finalized the agreement.
