Bordered by the headline, "Fabulous at Every Age," 49-year-old Elle MacPherson covers the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar Australia in thigh-high tights and nothing else, a recreation of her iconic 1994 Playboy cover -- which was in turn inspired by Brigitte Bardot.
The model, television personality and mother of two -- often known as "The Body" during her modeling career -- posed for Playboy when she was 30.
"She is in incredible shape for a woman about to turn 50," Bazaar editor Kellie Hush told The Daily Telegraph. "I hope Bryan Adams' images for Bazaar will be as iconic as the 1994 Playboy cover was in its time."
And yes, the "Bryan Adams" she referred to is none other than the Canadian singer best known for songs like "Straight from the Heart" and "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You."
"When I approached Elle she immediately said she would love to work on this project with Bryan Adams, who is her dear friend, a music megastar and an accomplished photographer," Hush added.
