From "Behind the Candelabra" to behind the desk in the Oval Office, Rob Lowe will star in his second big made-for-TV movie this year in "Killing Kennedy," National Geographic Channel's upcoming historical drama.

Here's a first look at Rob Lowe as JFK in the photo above. Lowe is transformed into President John F. Kennedy, and the portrayal is quite accurate. Not to mention he is recreating a well-known JFK pose from his official portrait in the White House, according to Yahoo TV News.

Lowe joins a substantial list of other actors who have portrayed the 35th President, including Martin Sheen, Patrick Dempsey and Greg Kinnear.

The film "Killing Kennedy" will air in November, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's assassination on Nov. 22, 1963.
