[VIDEO] Moms brawl at talent show

A talent show turned ugly in Florida when moms in the audience started throwing punches, resulting in an arrest.

Police said Jessica Tyler, a mom of a student at Lakeview Elementary School in St. Cloud, Fla., asked another mom, Latisha James, to sit down.

James was videotaping the talent show, and Tyler said James was blocking her view.

James admitted to standing up to take photos of her daughter.

"When they announced the second grade class, I was not the only one who stood up," James said.

Tyler told police James attacked her after she accidentally bumped James's child.

"Once she knocked my baby over, I just snapped," James said. "And she did not say I'm sorry."

The two women ended up choking and swearing at each other in front of the children, and other parents had to intervene to break up the fight.

Both women say the other was at fault, but police sided with Tyler's story that James attacked her first. Police arrested James and charged her with battery.

"I didn't go to school with the intention of messing up the show or putting my hands on anybody," James said. "I don't behave like that.

"I cannot say how much, how remorseful I am," she said. "I am totally remorseful. I've never been to jail before."

Police said Tyler could still face charges, but both women have been barred from returning to the school.
