"Under Pressure" released with just David Bowie and Freddie Mercury vocals

June 7 (UPI) -- Without instrumental backing, 1981's track "Under Pressure" is a totally different song.

According to Huffington Post, the track was first brought back to life last month to go along with the 31st anniversary of "Hot Space," the Queen album that features "Under Pressure."

David Bowie is back in the modern music scene, releasing his first new music in 10 years this past March with album "The Next Day," featuring the single "Where Are We Now?" It was received positively by critics and fans alike.

Bowie and Mercury's vocals shine without "Under Pressure's" iconic beat in the background. Listen below:
