Rihanna to be the new face of Chanel? Star lounges on couch in Coco's mansion

Rihanna has reignited rumors that she will become the new face of Chanel, Stylecaster reported.

The "We Found Love" artist has been spotted at multiple events with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld bedecked in the brand's famed double-C logo jewelry.

Rihanna tweeted in January that she had just wrapped a 'top-secret' ad campaign and has since tagged several of her Instagram photos with #CCcertified, referring to the brand's logo.

A spokesperson from Chanel denied the rumors in April, according to Vogue.

But Rihanna's recent trip to the Coco Chanel mansion has fashionistas' tongues wagging. She was photographed in the house, which has been maintained as Coco herself left it, sitting on her sofa.

Chanel typically chooses celebrities with a quieter reputation than Rihanna to represent the label. Nevertheless, Rihanna was pictured with Chanel designer Laetitia Crahay, prompting rumors of a campaign or collaboration.

For now, Rihanna will be busy enough with her own label and with her makeup collaboration at MAC Cosmetics.
