Jesse Eisenberg made a name for himself playing a harsh and socially awkward version of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in "The Social Network." But the 29-year-old star of "Now You See Me" exhibited some of those traits himself in an odd interview with Univision reporter Romina Puga.

Puga posted the interview online along with a blog describing how Eisenberg "humiliated" her by calling her the "Carrot Top of interviewers" because she relies on props instead of talent.

Media reports have called Eisenberg's interview performance "mean" and "rude," while others blamed Puga for her unwillingness to play along with Eisenberg's sense of humor.

"Some say Puga seemed unwilling to engage with Eisenberg and that her attempts to play coy (as when she refused to tell him, at one point, what was written on her hand) fell flat," Gawker's Caity Weaver wrote.
