Jessica Chastain denied rumors that she had been selected to play Hillary Clinton in the upcoming film "Rodham," while attending Gucci's Chime for Change: Sound of Change Live benefit concert in London.

"You know what happens?" Chastain told E!. "They just say these are the people we're considering asking. It doesn't mean anything. It doesn't mean any of us have read the script, any of us have heard of the project."

However, the Academy Award winning actress didn't deny she would like to play the former Secretary of State.

"She was foxy in the '70s," she said. "Have you seen the pictures where she showed her little midriff? I saw a picture of her in shorts. I love Hillary!"

"Rodham" will reportedly take place in the 1970s and will be about the former First Lady's involvement in the Richard Nixon impeachment hearings. Other rumored candidates for the role are Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon and Amanda Seyfried.
