A 22-year-old male fan of Taylor Swift's was arrested at the singer's Rhode Island beach home Wednesday after allegedly swimming there to meet her.

TMZ reports Rhode Island police arrested Swift's fan at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday after they reportedly saw him getting out of the ocean about one mile from the singer's home.

When asked what he was doing in the water, the man said he had swam to the singer's house with the intention of meeting her, but admitted that he swam back to where he came from after spotting her security team.

In total, the fan swam two miles.
