Three Taco Bell locations in Southern California have started to roll out a new addition to their breakfast menu -- a waffle taco, according to the Daily Caller.

The taco is just as it sounds -- a waffle, folded in half like a soft taco, is filled with sausage and a scrambled egg and served with a side of syrup.

Taco Bell has not released much information about the taco, but California patrons spotted it over the weekend.

The chain is rolling it out with plans to attract more customers to its breakfast menu, which it has dubbed "Firstmeal." USA Today reported that if the item is popular enough, it will be folded up nationwide.
