Labor pain simulator helps two men experience childbirth

By KATE STANTON, UPI.com

Confident that women exaggerate the pain of childbirth, two men visited Dr. Julie Masters in Troy, Mich., to try out the labor pain simulator, a real machine that simulates labor-like contractions. With their wives smiling knowingly by their sides, the two men in this viral video laugh and giggle at the painful sensation. That is, until Dr. Masters kicks the contractions up to high levels, at which point they writhe and double over in pain. Their "childbirth" only lasts an hour.

Dutch television hosts Dennis Storm and Valerio Zeno tried the labor pain simulator out in January.

"It was torture for me," Zeno said after-the-fact. "I don't know if I dare make my wife pregnant."
