May 12 (UPI) -- "If I knew, I would have reported it, brother or no brother," Pedro Castro told CNN in an interview to air Monday.

Ariel Castro's two brothers, Pedro and Onil, sat down with CNN a week after police arrested all three in connection with the decade-long kidnappings of Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight in Cleveland, Ohio. After releasing Pedro and Onil without charge, and clearing them of any wrongdoing, the two spoke out about the charges against their brother and the impact the arrests have had on their lives.

"It's going to haunt me down because people going to think, yeah, Pedro got something to do with this and Pedro don't have nothing to do with this," Pedro added.

"I was a very liked person, individual. I've never had any enemies. No reason for anybody to think that I would ever do something like that. It's a shock to all my friends. They couldn't believe it," Onil said.

"I couldn't never think of doing anything like that. If I knew that my brother was doing this...I would call the cops because that ain't right," Pedro said.

The two men also said they are hiding out with their 71-year-old mother because they received death threats and had rocks thrown through their windows.

Ariel Castro, meanwhile, faces four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape. Police reports say that he subjected the three women to 10 years of captivity, rape and abuse. Castro is currently in jail on $8 million bond and suicide watch.
