Kate Upton will be featured on the cover of Vogue for the first time in the magazine's June issue, along with a feature that describes her as "the hottest supermodel on Earth."

According to Us Weekly, the 20-year-old Sports Illustrated model opened up to Vogue about the struggles of having a curvy body in a size-0 modeling world.

"It was hard at first. You sit there and you’re like 'Is something wrong with me?'" says Upton in reference to the many online comments that have dubbed her "fat," adding that over time she's learned to accept that some things are not under her control.

“The things that they’re rejecting are things that I can’t change," says Upton. "I can’t change my bra size. They’re natural! I can work out and I can stay healthy and motivated, but I can’t change some things."

Regarding her new celebrity status and how she deals with all the attention, Upton says she just tries to "live her life."

"I really just live my life," she says. "I love my body. It’s what God gave me! I feel confident with myself, and if that inspires other women to feel confident with their bodies, great. It’s kind of funny to think, 'Oh, wow, the news is talking about whether I’m fat or not.'"

The model also opened up about how she tried to keep a down-to-earth personality so that her fans could develop a more natural connection to her. She spoke of tweeting daily and posting funny Keek videos to get people to see her as more than just a pretty face.

“I didn’t buy the magazines that had models on the covers, because I didn’t know them," she said. "So I think this kind of gives me, as a model, a personality that people can connect with."

Vogue's June issue featuring Upton hits newsstands May 21.
