New York Jets rookie quarterback Geno Smith is on the market for a new agent and according to Pro Football Talk he was pitched by Jay-Z's agency Roc Nation.

According to reports Smith spent two days meeting with potential new agents. Among them were Joel Segal, Rick Smith of Priority Sports, Eugene Parker, Fletcher Smith, and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation agency.

Because Jay-Z has not yet been certified as an NFLPA agent the rules prevent him from trying to persuade NFL players himself. A certified agent from Roc Nation approached Smith about joining their agency.

Smith is not expected to make a decision any time soon as he is currently participating in the New York Jets' rookie mini-camp.
