Real estate mogul Donald Trump is taking his golfing operations to the Middle East and plans to build a new golf course in Dubai.

I Realty Times reports that the 28-million-foot project for the Trump International Golf Club in Dubai will include a luxury residential community, hotels, a spa and international schools.

Trump will carry out his project in what was supposed to be "Dubailand," a space where Tiger Woods was set to build a $1 billion golfing estate. Woods's project was allegedly halted due to the economic downturn in the city.

The Trump Organization already has 14 golf courses around the world, and plans to build this 7,205-yard, par-71 course in Dubai, mark its first golfing investment in Asia.
