Heather Locklear dating celebrity plastic surgeon

Rumor has it that Heather Locklear has ditched her preference for rockers to date celebrity plastic surgeon Marc Mani.

Mani appeared on TLC's "Plastic Surgery Beverly Hills" and was listed as one of the top 10 board-certified plastic surgeons in the country by Forbes. He gained fame shortly after Whitney Houston's death for denying her a face lift just two weeks before she died.

Locklear, 51, has famously been married to 80s rock stars -- she was married to Tommy Lee of Motley Crue for seven years and then Richie Sambora, bassist for Bon Jovi for 13.

Locklear and Sambora divorced in 2007. She has not been married since, but was briefly engaged to fellow "Melrose Place" alum Jack Wagner in 2011.

It is unclear how long Mani and Locklear have been dating, but the New York Post says the two are serious.

The relationship news comes after a series of new acting work for Locklear, with roles in both "Hot in Cleveland" and "Franklin and Bash" and an upcoming appearance in "Scary Movie 5." She had been absent from acting since 2011.

Sources at Inquisitr credit Mani for her good looks and comeback, as they say has been doing pro bono work for her during their relationship.
