Lakers star Steve Nash, who recently divorced his wife Alejandra Nash, told a judge he did not want to pay child support because he made his ex-wife a millionaire following the divorce settlement.

TMZ reports Steve Nash claims he already covers enough of the kids' expenses -- including 90 percent of their medical bills and extracurricular activities and 82 percent of the nanny's monthly salary -- and that his ex wife, who makes more than $30,000 a month, is perfectly capable of covering the rest.

The basketballer added that he fears the kids' mother will spoil them with luxurious lifestyles if he were to give her more money for child support.

On the other hand, Alejandra Nash says her ex husband's monthly earnings exceed hers by $1 million and that he should invest some of it on their children.

Though Alejandra Nash currently lives in Arizona with the kids, she is considering moving to Los Angeles. According to TMZ, if she does move she is a lot more likely to win the child support battle because of California's child support laws.
