The Daily Mail reports that it took about an hour for all the locks to reset after they popped open at around 12:20 a.m. Fortunately, no inmates tried to escape.
The Montgomery County Jail is located in Boyds, Md. and has a computer-controlled security system. A similar incident, in which the looks all of a sudden disengaged, took place Tuesday.
Officials told local media they were investigating what caused the glitch.
