Obama works bangs at the White House Correspondents' Dinner

Speaking before a gathering of reporters, celebrities, comedians and politicos at the White House Correspondents' Dinner Saturday night, Barack Obama cracked a few more jokes about his wife's much-discussed set of bangs.

The president said he would take a cue from first lady Michelle Obama's well-received fringe, which many deemed refreshing and stylish when she debuted the hairstyle on her birthday earlier this year.

"I recognize that this job can take a toll on you. I understand second term [you] need a burst of new energy," Obama said. "My team and I talked about it. We're willing to try anything, so we borrowed one of Michelle's tricks."

Obama cut to photoshopped photos of himself sporting straight, flat bangs.

"I think this looked pretty good, but no bounce," the president said of his potential new look.
