Eminem to release new album in the summer

Marshall Mathers a.k.a. Eminem is wrapping up production on his first new album since 2010 and it will allegedly hit shelves this summer.

According to Zap2It the news of the album was first confirmed by Dr. Dre who said the rapper was "finishing up" a new project. Later on, it was ratified by a post on Aftermath Entertainment's Facebook page which claimed new music from Eminem was on its way.

Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg told Billboard that "it's safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we're not exactly sure when."

Mathers is scheduled to go on tour in Europe during the second half of August. It is unknown if the rapper will release the album before, during or after he goes on the road.
