April 23 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army and the American Forces Network in Afghanistan have teamed up to produce a pop-culture friendly series of public service announcements promoting soldier and civilian safety starring Batman himself.

Bagram's hilarious(ly intimidating) version of the Dark Knight, doing his best Christian Bale, is the star of the Army's new safety campaign, leaping in to save the day and issuing stern warnings for violators of safety protocols.

Also, apparently, American soldiers listen to Taylor Swift when they go for a jog.

"Don't forget your weapon! Swear to me!"

Bagram Batman also maintains an active Facebook page and Twitter.
