American Country Music's Female Vocalist of the Year Miranda Lambert got emotional accepting her award during Sunday night's broadcast.

"I just want to say really quickly that last night, a huge dream of mine came true," she said, before choking up, "because I went from being a little girl singing with a hairbrush to watching Shania Twain with Faith Hill and Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson."

"And I cried I'll night because I'll never not be a fan of those beautiful women. Thank you so much for this."
