Google came under fire for honoring labor leader Cesar Chavez on Sunday. March 31 marks his birthday, and although it is not a federal holiday, Barack Obama called for observance of Cesar Chavez Day back in 2008.

But this year March 31 fell on Easter Sunday, and many Christians were outraged that Google would honor Chavez instead of Jesus, the central figure of Christianity believed to have risen from the dead on Easter. Conservative Christians took to social media to voice their outrage at Google's apparent slight to the religious, and to announce their switch to Microsoft's competing search engine Bing.
