With media reporters desperate for any news of Matt Lauer's future at NBC's struggling "Today" show, the Peacock network can't afford any more bad press. Lauer already apologized Friday to a former intern who said he was "not nice."
But fellow "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie, who replaced Ann Curry last year, appeared to give Lauer the middle finger during a segment on vacuum cleaners. After Lauer joked that it was "the first time Savannah has ever used a vacuum," Guthrie stepped away and pointed a finger up in the air at her co-host.
