Fox News host Bill O'Reilly called out Michele Bachmann for "small ball" attacks that were factually incorrect and trivializing more important issues, like the national debt and Obama's unwillingness to compromise.

Bachmann accused the president of having a professional dog walker and a luxurious White House, even though the White House gardener has always walked presidential pups and the White House budget is down from George W. Bush's tenure.

"Now, it's long past time for partisans on both the right and the left to cut the nonsense and look at things clearly," O'Reilly said on "The O'Reilly Factor" Wednesday night.

"With the nation now owing close to $17 trillion, I wish the president were more like Pope Francis, who as a cardinal in Argentina rejected all the lavish perks. But Mr. Obama is entitled to protection, convenience and comfort as he runs the nation."
