Dad who drowned sons gets death penalty
Residents of a Chinese town are celebrating a "miracle" chicken that has developed a habit of laying enormous eggs.
After three weeks of bigger-than-normal eggs, the chicken laid a monster -- weighing in at almost half a pound, the egg contained two yolks, plus an entire, regular-sized egg inside.
The 87-year-old woman who owns the chicken said she thought the chicken was dying when it was laying the egg, and gives credit to the hen's strange diet for its mammoth output.
The hen, according to the owner, won't touch the corn the rest of her chickens eat. Instead, it'll only eat rice.
