Sometimes we all want to blend in, even if you're the president of the United States.

Lamenting his lack of anonymity, Barack Obama told Israel's Channel 2 that he fantasized about wandering incognito around the streets of Tel Aviv.

"Sometimes I have this fantasy that I can put on a disguise, you know, wear a fake mustache, and I can wander through Tel Aviv and go to a bar and have a conversation, or go down to a university and meet with some students in a setting where it wasn't as formal. And we're going to try and find as many opportunities as I can to interact directly with the Israeli people."

Obama recalled a time when he was able to "sit at a cafe and just hang out."

"You've tapped into something that chafes at me," Obama said. "It's the toughest thing about being president -- you can't just slip out and interact with people without having a bunch of guys with machine guns with you."

According to Politico, the president said he once tried to convince the Secret Service to let him walk through Central Park by himself by donning a fake mustache.
