Gwyneth Paltrow's latest literary venture is both a cookbook and a memoir.
In her upcoming book titled, "It's All Good," the actress turned blogger shares recipes from the low-carb, gluten free diet that her family -- including her husband Chris Martin and their two children, 8-year-old Apple and 6-year-old Moses -- lives by.
‘'Every single nutritionist, doctor and health-conscious person I have ever come across . . . seems to concur that [gluten] is tough on the system and many of us are at best intolerant of it and at worst allergic to it,'' Paltrow writes in her book, as reported by the Daily Mail.
But like everything, being that health conscious comes with a price.
"Sometimes when my family is not eating pasta, bread or processed grains like white rice, we're left with that specific hunger that comes with avoiding carbs," Paltrow adds.
According to E! Online, Paltrow decided to write a follow up to her best-selling cookbook "My Father's Daughter" (2011) after she discovered last spring she had both anemia and a vitamin D deficiency and was forced to change her diet.
Patrow's new book, in stores April 2, includes 185 recipes based on the new diet provided by her doctor.
