"How we're all sharing is changing and the News Feed needs to evolve with those changes. This is the evolving face of News Feed," Zuckerberg told the audience.

Facebook's new News Feed features three major components -- via Mashable:

- Bigger Images: Translates into more white space and less word clutter.

- Multiple Feeds: Users will be able to pick from several different feeds including "Most Recent," "Friends," "Photos" and "Music" categories.

- Mobile Consistency: The new News Feed was inspired by mobile apps for phones and tablets and will be consistent in all devices.
