Despite a disappointing lack of photographic evidence, The New York Post reported Tuesday that a court officer spotted Los Angeles Clippers star Lamar Odom fast asleep on a courthouse bench during a custody hearing over his two children with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales.

"Excuse me, are you OK?” the officer asked Odom when he found the 6-foot-10 Clippers forward napping on a hard wooden bench outside the room where lawyers were discussing the case. "I need you to sit up," the officer said.

Odom must have a lot on his mind. The 33-year-old married Kardashian clan member and reality TV star Khloe Kardashian in 2009 after a whirlwind four-week courtship. At the time, Odom had just separated from Morales, his longtime girlfriend and mother of his two children, Destiny and Lamar Jr.

On the same day, The Daily Beast published Morales' account of her relationship with Odom.

"I don’t think I’ll forget the tight knot I felt in the pit of my stomach the morning I received the text message with three simple words on the screen," Morales said. "It read “I’m getting married” and it was from the man I’d spent more than 10 years of my life with."

"How could the man who’d constantly given me reason after reason for why we couldn’t get married just yet now be ready to tie the knot so quickly? There aren’t words to explain how I felt that day," she added.

Morales said she and Kardashian had a "very pleasant meeting" just once for the sake of her children.
