The actress who embodied Princess Leia in the original "Star Wars" trilogy was blunt when asked if she would be reprising the role in J.J. Abram's upcoming "Episode VII."

Princess Leia is coming back!

In an interview with the Palm Beach Illustrated, Carrie Fisher didn't elaborate, nor did she need to, when she was asked if she'd be returning to her iconic role "Star Wars: Episode VII".

"Q: Disney is going to continue the Star Wars saga, producing movies set to hit theaters starting in 2015. Can you confirm whether you’ll reprise the role of Princess Leia?

A: Yes."

Fisher joked Leia would be "elderly... in an intergalactic old folks' home" and still wearing "the bagel buns and the bikini, because probably she has sundowners syndrome."

(For the record, sundowners syndrome is a common psychological phenomenon often associated with Alzheimer's, in which confusion and symptoms emerge in the evening.)

Original series costars Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill have also spoken out about their potential involvement in the new films, the first of which due out in 2015 and will be directed by J.J. Abrams.

Ford has already supposedly signed on for "Episode VII", while Mark Hamill said last month all three were in negotiations.

"I want to make sure that everybody's on board here, rather than just one," Hamill told EOnline last month. "I can tell you right away we haven't signed any contracts."

With all three stars speaking openly about a return, a reunion of Han, Luke and Leia is starting to seem inevitable.

Fisher, 56, was recently hospitalized for a bipolar episode and was released last week.
