Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, would turn 109 years old on March 2, and Oceanhouse Media and Dr. Seuss Enterprises are running a birthday sale on the author's apps.

The promotion includes discounts on over 40 Dr. Seuss apps, some educational, some fun. The Dr. Seuss Happy Birthday Edition camera app will be available for free, featuring 11 Seussian birthday card templates you can personalize with your own photos. And the writer's most memorable title will go on sale. "The Cat in the Hat" digital book app will go for $.99, down from its usual $3.

The sale runs through March 7 and is in effect across all platforms including the Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon's Appstore, Nook and Windows.
