Four years after Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech during the 2009 MTV VMAs with an abrupt "Imma let you finish," the 35-year-old musician and father-to-be slammed the young singer once again during a lengthy rant on-stage in London over the weekend.
"Taylor Swift beat Beyonce at the Grammys? Beyonce be dancing in heels and s***," West said during the musical interlude of his song "Clique."
Suprisingly, Swift wasn't West's only target. He went after his friends too, telling the Hammersmith Apollo audience that he had "love for" Jay-Z, but none for the rapper's new collaboration with Justin Timberlake, "Suit & Tie."
"I got love for Hov," West said of his longtime friend and music partner, "but I ain’t f***ing with that 'Suit & Tie'."
West also used the 10-minute tirade to slam corporations who use art to make money.
"Remind me again why we in this s***?" West sang repeatedly. "Since when was making art about getting rich?"
In what appeared to be a veiled criticism of his friend Beyonce, who inked a $50 million promotion deal with Pepsi last December, West mocked artists who take money to shill corporate goods.
